Week 2 of Mystical Mushrooms has just finished, so here's the compilation!These are mushroom character designs I made for Funguary 2023 , hosted by Feefal on Instagram. While drawing them was fun, most of the time I was drawing in a rush to keep up with the upload schedule. I challenged myself to do the hardcore level, which means drawing all 28 mushrooms, so... yeah. This second week was unexpectedly busy and my schedule was in disarray. You won't notice it though since you see it here and not on my Insta :v
And wow, compiling them all, I just realised I draw lots of sitting position lol
From left to right:
Entoloma hochstetteri (Werewere-kokako) as a pretty blue lady because yes.
Terana coerulea (Cobalt Crust) as a refined young man... I guess???
Omphalotus nidiformis (Ghost mushroom) as a pretty green ghost lady
Cortinarius archeri (Emperor Cortinar) as a shiny, slimy pretty purple lady
Psathyrella aquatica as water farmers! Featuring a fish
Marasmius oreades (Fairy Ring mushroom) as a mushroom ballerina
Hygrocybe conica (Witch's Hat) as a young, adorable witch
Ngl I'm slowly regretting putting the characters' descriptions. I'm slowly but surely out of vocabs for them ∠( ᐛ 」∠)＿
