Last week of Funguary 2023! It’s the week of Friendly Mushrooms! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

So this will be the last compilation from Funguary 2023 challenge hosted by Feefal on Instagram. This week’s characters receive the most development concept-wise out of all weeks. Over time, I’ve become more comfortable with drawing non-human characters, and so I started to stray from my earlier concepts that were full of basically humans with mushroom hair to… more less-human like. I… I tried my best. I know you can still see the human-body-base among them all lol

Well… that’s it for Funguary 2023! Thank you to you all who have interacted with my drawings in any way, even if it’s just viewing for a moment. Special thank you to my real-life friends, and BrushtailBunny for being lovely people, you never fail to make my day :”D

Tremella as a creature trying out human clothes

Flammulina velutipes (Velvet Shank) as your friendly next-door neighbour

Chanterelle as a bubbly, shiny chibi, ready to brighten your day!

Sarcodon imbricatus (Hawk’s Wing) as a concerned bird-folk. She thinks she saw you crying

Pleurotus djamor (Pink Oyster) as a maid mushroom. Maid mushroom! Cute maid mushroom! (sorry I just really like her lol)
