Funguary 2023 hosted by Feefal on Instagram has ended, and so the compilations are finished! Here’s the compilation of Week 3 of Malicious Mushrooms. Week 4 will soon follow.

For this week, I have lots of ideas about drawing malicious beings. But it turns out they’re not that malicious, just a bit scary and you can spot some sad stories etched on their body. Eventhough I didn’t mean it lol.

This is actually the week I’ve been looking forward to. I thought I get to experience more, but college hits hard and demands most of my time. So unfortunately most of these were rushed because that time it was already Week 4 and I still haven’t finished like 3 more malicious mushrooms :”)

Oh well. If I ever decide to join in another monthly challenge, I need to considerate my schedule more if I want to keep it consistent ∠( ᐛ 」∠)＿

From left to right:

Clathrus archeri (Devil’s Fingers) as a… sensual… red lady…?

Mycena haematopus (Bleeding Fairy Helmet) as an overprotective feral mother (ft hundreds of children)

Clitocybe dealbata (Ivory Funnel) as a wounded yet deadly creamy being…?

Tetrapyrgos nigripes (Black-stalked Marasmius) as a lost ghost child watching you from the bus stop in the middle of the night ◉_◉

Amanita galactica as an alluring, mysterious achromatic lady

Ophiocordyceps as a… creature… with its zombie mecha(ish) ant :v

Geastrum saccatum (Earthstar) as a bunch of peeps finding out you have intruded on their territory >:0
