Edit: changed the title cuz I never liked the original one...crazy things happen when you are in the mood to draw something sad and tragic at 1 in the morning while listening to Within Temptation.
started out as a crappy sketch just to get it outof my head. Celestia was simple enough, but Nightmare Moon proved to be a pain to do only in pencil (thats what Sketchbook imitates best in my opinion). after 2 hours, I finally got a pose that wasnt hard to do without fancy effects. I colored her in to separate her armor...when I was done...Celestia was a shame...so, I fixed her up. not perfectly. but better.
background was possibly going in. but I lost my motivation, being 3 in the morning...

oh guess wut, i was watching a mlpfim pmv in class and the girl behind me didn't believe it was mlp she thought it was all fan made because she thought it was liek the 80's version =_= and she Β kept saying"that is NOT my little pony, my little pony is meant to be for kids and all Β like stupid kids cute stuff" sorry to say but if it was like that there wouldn't be bronies....sheesh apparently Luna eclipse and season 4 ep 1-2 aren't real episodes =_=

Show her the season 4 finale. Lulz see what she says about that. I grew up with the 80s ponies, and I will admit, I was kinda the same. I first saw it and thought this style butchered it. So, I cant really be upset with people who say things like that, if youre comparing it to the 80s. Hell, i even thought G3 butchered the original 80s ponies. But then I gave it a shot and now im a huuuuge brony lol with still a bit of nostalgia love for thd original.

I grew up with the old ponies as well and when i saw the new one i thought it would be the same but then i saw Β a amv with nightmare moon gave it a shot. But i thought it be the only good thing ever in the show so i dumped it ( like naruto with the kyuubi ). Then i kept seeing pics and vids and plot and i gave it a chance and became a brony XD.
