Hello there, another Optimus Prime coming at you! This time charging up for a SHORYU KEN?I've been referencing the recent Takara Masterpiece #44 Optimus v3.0. It is an expensive toy that is not without its flaws but wow it's a beauty! At the very least, it is inspiring me to draw draw draw.
This was drawn in procreate with ipencil. 2hr 30min.

I'm really loving the contrasting brush strokes; it feels like you used the same brush for the entire painting, but Optimus is painted in primarily hard edge strait brush strokes the fire is painted more loosely and I like how simple yet effective that is.Β

I used 4 different brushes if I'm remembering correctly:
1. Prime
2. Fire
3. Fire highlights on Prime's hand and chin
4. rising embers
