Beautiful photograph - simple and effective use of composition. The depth of field is almost perfect (and I mean perfect - the almost is the slightest hint of softness at the upper right portion of the leaf - but thats only seen because I was looking very criticaly at the depth of field).
This works well as color with the cool tones complimenting each other - the blue glass, the green of the stem and the leaf, and the slate gray background.
I've had this sitting in my watch for... well, over a month... and while I can finaly get it out of there, thats only because it will show up in my favorites now.
Once again, superbly done.

Wow, so simple, yes. I love how the bottle/vase is blue.. it really picks up the colours of the background. Speaking of which, I love that the background isn't one solid colour -- it really seems to emphasize the subject more as it is.
To the subject, it gives off the feeling of delicacy. It's just so simple and pure that it almost makes me want to cry.
I'm a big fan of the simple things in life.. and this piece is definitely one of those.

I realy like how you focused on this part of the flower and bottle, it leaves so much for the mind to make up but still gives us enough to know what it is, the soft background colors are amazing and realy work well, help keep attention and focus on the flower, i like the compositioning of the subject to the left and the colors are wonderfull, the greens to contrast those blues of the bottle and the background, very clean and simple
