You are back! hello!
Bert says thank you very much!
This is his "Indiana Jones" hat,one of his favourites!
He has to be unshaven,with a stubbly face to wear this hat,he thinks it makes him look very rugged and manly!!!!!
He looks a little different now though,he no longer has any visible piercings!
He felt the time was right to take them out.

Yes, finally back!
You just tell Bert he got quite a nice look, definitely suits him better than the other hat (don't tell him I said so, but it made him look ...well...old)! And yeah, the piercing completed his rugged rebel look, but hey, if he thought it was time to go...
By the way, before I forget again, J is lovely! Would have said so before, but you didn't enable comments for that one!

Yes,just pinched myself to make sure its not a dream,you really are back!
Bert has gone very red and said thank you!
Dont tell Bert I told you this,but that other hat,you should see it when it blows off his head in the wind!!!!!!
He wont often wear it now as last time it blew off,it was in front of two women and he got very embarrassed!
Poor old Bert is too old now for piercings,he is going to leave that sort of thing to the youngsters,and accept he is getting old.

Well you just tell Bert he's as old as he feels, so he shouldn't worry about what the others say! And will be looking forward to that note!

I did try and tell Bert,but he just said he must be about 120 now then,as thats how old he feels.

Oh, no, you must talk to him and see what's behind this "old" phase he's going through! Besides, the life expectancy is around 76, so Bert could say he definitely beat that!

I did have a word with poor old Bert.
He just says he is old and past it now,and heading for the scrapheap,he has even grown a beard?
That is something he would never have done before?
He also said he may as well go to Bournemouth and sit on the seafront with the other old people on deckchairs,with a tartan rug around his legs!

Oh, no, doesn't he realize how much he'd be out of place there? A beard does not make him old, maybe stubborn and too lazy to shave it, but not enough to convince me! So you just tell him he'd better clean up and report back with a better attitude or some serious will take place!

Old Bert thinks he is so old and creaky,that is the only place he would fit in!
And his beard has streaks of grey on the chin,that makes him feel very old!
He thinks he may as well give up and shuffle around with a walking stick,moan about youngsters today,and smell of wee like the other old people!!!
