it works!
this was shot straight into the sun,the reflection from the water alone should have ruined the shot!
at f20 and this shutter speed, you would never get this without the filter,i have to admit i am impressed for the price of it,its a hoya and only cost £48,the exact same filter from canon is £156!

That's one hell of a price difference! But if this is the result, it's all worth it! I'm officially impressed!

oh yes, canon are notorious for their greed, they have ruled the market for so long that they seriously rip off the customers for every penny they can!
up till now nobody else has made a full frame slr,so they have had the pro market almost to themselves, but, now nikon have brought out a full frame slr,the d3,they are going to start losing a lot of their most important customers to nikon, that was one of the reasons i would not buy a nikon, the lack of a full frame camera, but now.............
but they have nobody else to blame for their greedy behaviour turning round and biting them!
this was one of those things i kept meaning to buy,but never got round to it!
my two normal lenses take 77mm filters, that large size is very expensive compared to the average size lens, that may possibly have played a major part of it?
thank you! i also have grads!!!!!
