I have much to rant about before the lovely features. First I must say that my laptop is once again being temperamental. The keyboard has given up typing once again. I am very mad. I am now using Mark's laptop which.... I hate. I like my laptop better to work with my photos. Not being able to type on it is a pain though. In other news I did not get that job I wanted. I also now have to wait to get my permit and NY ID as of right now because we are broke. My boyfriend's best friend is getting married and we are both part of the wedding party. It has cost us a small fortune... and now we are broke. The wedding is on the 4th of October.. the day after Mark and I's two year anni. Which sucks. I am completely stressed out. Then.. my mum (who is in CA on the other freaking side of the country..) She had to go to the hospital. She dropped down to 98 lbs in a year. She was then diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes. She almost died. Her levels were well over 300 a

Insects go by many different names depending upon which country you are in but in this country this is what we call a wasp or a yellowjacket in the USA.
We use the term Hornet for the largest of the eusocial wasps

Well here in Denmark, we do kinda the same, but since it's danish we say "hveps" instead of wasp, and "gedehams" instead of hornet. To me it just looked like a hornet!

You probably won't need danish anyway, I mean, it's such a small country and we are only 5,000,000 people (to you it may seem like nothing, but to us it's a crap load of people)! xD
Me too, me too - I could talk for hours about my love for invertebrates! They're so beautiful and they're biology is fantastic! What kind of insect, arachnid, crustacean, etc. do you like the most? I'll have to say beetles, and especially stag beetles. Too bad they're almost extinct in Denmark…

It's sad to hear about the decline of the stag beetle in Denmark
I like the insects that people see every day but dismiss or overlook as a nuisance wasps, ants, bees, spiders etc

But we're repopulating it at the time, and people say it'll be normal to see again in 2020! But until now I have to go up to Sweden to see it!
