The stones aren't always on the same spot. They fall off/rub off and grow back every now and then.

I'm commenting out of curiosity and for planning OCT things What would happen if a character couldn't "call" Doorbell? Mine happens to be mute so I'm having difficulty imagining her sign "doorbell" and somehow a giant rock snake hears her. ;v; love doorbell tho

Well, we're pretty open with our characters, so feel free to come up with something for that. ^^
For example the person thinks very intensively about Doorbell and he could sense that and appear.

I think it's an interesting concept, but I know nothing about OCT's. If I had the choice, I would make a character something like yours Steff. A re-occurring character who is there to protect the library and aid or hinder the main characters. If Cooper allowed it, my character would be a human who in the distant past was turned into a Black Dog (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_do⦠) and now serves as a gaurdian.

Unfortunately only the Judges are allowed to make NPCs/characters that work in the library. if you want to join the tournament, you need to make a character that is fighting the other participants.
And we also already have a dog as NPC , youll see X3

So do you need to know the specific room in order to use doorbell or could you just ask him for the autobiography section and he would give you the right rock to teleport with?

Asking him for a certain section in the library has the same effect as asking him for a number of a room. :3 A stone starts glowing and you get teleported there.Β
You can even tell him "Bring me to the room where Person X currently is" and he teleports you there.

Yeah, tried out for one... ended badly, and ended up only meeting horrible people on DA.
But I tried out for another, got in, met good people... but found out the OCT was crap; everyone only got 1 month to make an entry, and that was "plenty" because the director was a writer and therefor didn't understand how much time goes into drawing...
