This is all so interesting! But... I'm a bit of a hermit sometimes... What does OCT mean? I briefly checked and it said "on company time" somewhere, but I know that's not what you mean. It sounds incredibly interesting and I would join, but I have no idea what it is or what OCT means .o.

Ugh, I want to join this OCT so badly.Β It has artists I know andΒ love as judges but I can't draw comics to save my life.Β I don't have the skill or attention span.Β I can write things pretty well though.Β Which doesn't really matter anyways.Β Sadness.

The thing is I don't know anybody who draws who would be interested.Β That coupled with my inability to grasp exactly how a tag team would work in this instance.Β I understand that this is because some of the judges don't have the attention span to read written submissions.Β Since it is still in the works, do you think it is possible to speak with the other judges in order to work out a way for writers to come in?Β I understand if you can't or don't want to, you probably get hundreds of comments like this one.
Also, I find it hilarious how this is an OCT that takes place in a Library, but written submissions aren't accepted.

We all don't want written entries in there, for several reasons. This is a comic competition.
And you can't compare written entries with drawn comics because comics take way more time and effort than writings.

It looks very fun, I was about to say for a competitor in an OCT it's very BUSTED but for a judge it makes about the right amount of sense. I hope the libraries pretty big if it's got to house something THIS size.... or they're gonna be playing dominoes with the book racks.
I'd love to compete but it's got a strict no literature basis so I'm up a creek sans paddle. That said wish you all the best with it and hope you get some interesting contestants.Β

She had no creditΒ making it, she was just in it, and it was the only OCT I ever knew about it so I couldn't help but to remember it and just share it.

Alright, then could I possibly create a partnership with another artist who will draw to enter the tournament, giving half of the credit (along with any rewards, even though I don't really care about that, I'd mainly do it for fun) to each of us? For example, I would figure out how the fight should go and create the character, while my partner would draw the character and comics.
