I just can't help but think of the whole depth perception problem here...

You usually close one eye when firing something, to make stuff line up. Your binocular vision can confuse you during such a task.

when one sense fails, the others get enhanced, who knows if his only eye gained a "depth perception" over time, would be troublesome to run on some stairs otherwise.
