Whenever I look at this I have to remember that it is my first photoshop painting Ever.That said, I feel I can appreciate it.

The facial proportions are out and the shading isn't quite right but I can't work on it any more. - I think this occurred as I didn't use a reference or even an original sketch, just painted.
I did this only to learn the general technique of photoshop painting and I think I have, considering the massive improvement in my current work in progress (I have a WIP picture of it in my gallery) here

The material reference was a random swatch I had.

I may have to touch this up for my art folio so anything you can see that can be improved, without to much hastle, would be a great help.

read your own description. What am I supposed to say about this? I can't give this deep criticism, so I'll just comment on some things that I like and don't.
Fantastic job on the hair. I love red headed girls. Exceptional technique with the hair. This might be your first original Photoshop painting, but I can tell you're experience in traditional techniques. I love her eyes, too. they're amazing. Clean, crisp lines, and nothing's out of place. I really like the little pattern blurb on her right eye.
Her mouth's all screwy though. Her jawline's a little blurry, and her shoulder/neckline on her right side is blocky. Also, it appears that her nostrils are glowing.
Would it be out of my place to offer a touch up? I could play around with her mouth and shoulders and fix them up for you if you're interested. It's cool if you're not.

Yes, you are right I do have training in traditional techniques - just too damn impatient to paint traditionally I also get scared of the finality of every brushstroke.
Nope, certainly not out of place to offer a touch up! I'm gonna send you note with some more information and some warnings...
