Incredible. I get the feeling I'm looking at images from the Hubble telescope when I see this. Reminds of them so much (by that I mean the galaxies it's taken photos of); this could easily be a picture the Hubble lost on it's harddrive or somethin' cuz it's that good. I'd even put it up on the top of my ceiling and look at it as I go to sleep.

Maybe from some pretty astigmatic cousin of Hubble, indeed... Putting it on the ceiling might be a great idea. More generally, these images could make interesting tapestries, because they are just a very small portion of an infinitely extended, non-periodic pattern. But I haven't found yet a service allowing to print your own tapestries...

Solid idea; I'll consider it. Maybe I could get a wallpaper/ceiling print and a tapestry, but I think it'll probably come down to Kinko's or something like that as I think they're the only ones around with printers large enough to do that. As far as I'm aware of, I don't think there's any place locally that can do a tapestry job, and don't know of any nationally. Might gotta Google that.
