Description UPDATE - 02/12/2022:
  • Significantly improved both models with better/more morphs, physics, etc.
  • Modified Jak a bit to look more like his Precursor Legacy self.
  • Added normal map effects.

The dynamic duo as they looked in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. Both Jak and Daxter are compatible with MMD motion and pose data and have several facial morphs. Jak has physics for his hair and ears while Daxter has physics for his ears, hat, and tail.

This model comes with .fx files that can be used with MME to activate normal mapping on the model, as shown above. They will apply themselves when the model is loaded.

This download contains models that are only designed for use with MikuMikuDance (MMD).

The original models were ripped from PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale by SSBBNessFan.
I did the conversion work for the MMD models.

Jak and Daxter and all related characters, settings, objects, etc. belong to Sony.

The very first games I got for my PlayStation 2. I'm never tired of beating the games since I really get fun playing them!

I highly recommend the original trilogy, seriously. And about the models, they look nice!

It's indeed an amazing game. I played it so many times that I'm able to collect the 100 Power Cells in less than a day.

I'm actually thinking to play it again, following the trilogy.

Naughty Dog had planned to make a new Jak game using the same engine they used for Uncharted, including giving the characters new, more realistic designs. They had scrapped it, though, because they 1) couldn't get it to work with the engine, 2) thought the redesigns wouldn't go over well with long-time fans, and 3) just lost interest.
There's always hope that a third party will pick it up, though. (Though if Sly 4 was any indication, it might not be the best idea).

Yeah, it's a great series! I'd recommend you play the PS2 originals since the HD collections don't really do them justice.

Did you add eye bones to them? Because I always wanted to update jak and daxter’s models to give them eye bones, of course when I get my new laptop

They don't have eye bones since I would have to design full 3D eyes that would fit their skulls, which may not be completely possible for Daxter. All I was able to do was add UV morphs.
