-JAK FANS THIS IS FOR YOU-I have been privy to INGAME footage of the Jak HD Collection and got a triple menu edit for you these are the MAIN MENU animations and as you can see they look EPIC!

Hm...wasn't a big fan of Jak X. To me kinda seemed like a grown-up version of Mario Kart, but that's just me. I played through it though, but my heart stayed with the trilogy.

I guess that's a way to look at it. It was indeed quite nice to have a customization option in the game. If they were to add such a function to the trilogy or any upcoming Jak and Daxter game(if such a game were to come out) i would die a happy man xD

Hm not necessarily an rpg, i don't see how that would really fit with this gameplay style, unless they change it a bit to make it more pc friendly or keep it(like it's predecessors) Playstation exclusive (which i would prefer actually). Add i a character creator, some new guns, new areas to explore and put in the old ones like the spargas ciry, the desert haven city and maybe the time period in jak and daxter 1(?). Honestly i wish they'd put in a sword (sword fanatic here) i mean, they use plasma weapons...why not a plasma sword? Idk, just some variation in weapons. and of course, vehicles and the jet board. Light and Dark mode can be unlockable at higher levels...and i'm just going to deep into this xD.

Got that right mate, but then again we both know the fact that back in those days, PS2 wasn't really as online friendly as the PS3 and PS4 are today. But i would love an online game made by Naughty Dog, Uncharted doesn't count. The only online game i've played that has actually come close to the style of Naughty Dog up till now is WildStar. *sighs* Damn it ND what the hell are you guys doing...the game that made that company popular is being left in the dark too much.

Never really been a restisance fan...rachet and clank on the other hand i don't like whats happening to him. Even his character design is completely different. In rachet and clank 1-3 he looked hood for ps2, ps3 completely blew my mind in terms of his character redesign in a good way. And then...All 4 one came out and i looked at the character design and thought "wtf happened to his crack in time design!?" He looked perfect in that game. He looked what you'd expect him to look like in an HD version. Now he looks like he turned 10 years younger which pretty much made me say fk no. This coming from the guy who was ok with the redesign on Sonic in every game(me).

Same, I liked the comic book as it served as a post Future tilogy story but after that they just lost it, I played Nexus too, sadly its still a pile of junk. The controls and gameplay are horrible and the story just teases you before going "frak you" with a terrible cop out ending.

Really? Ah thats just too bad...when i saw the trailers for Nexus i thought "hmm...this could be good" but hearing it was horrible just breaks m heart. Let's hope that if they release new Ratchet and Clank games that they at least go back to the previous character designs and well...the comedy form of the previous games, which is what made them so amazingly fun to play. Hell i'm just gonna go play the trilogy again, it's just that much fun xD.

I brought it thinking it would be amazing and boy was I ripped off, if it was a psp game fair enough but to call it part of the "future" timeline and an epilouge thats just lieing :/

New movie? Ratchet and Clank is getting a movie? I thought only Sly Cooper was getting his own pixar animated movie, which was...odd to see when i saw the trailer...they look too...realistic(?) for me to get used to the concept, but...i'll keep an open mind and just see what happens, and as for Ratchet and Clank...if the movie gets good reviews then i might go watch it..pff on the internet of course xD. Am wishing they finally release a Jak and Daxter movie...if his 2 rivals in gaming industry are getting movies...then Jak and Daxter deserves 1 too and a good 1 at that(hoping they don't continue where that last frontier left off...cause that game was just pure shit, it's an embarrassment and it doesn't deserve the name Jak and Daxter on the title...ARGH!...the intro alone pissed me off...different character designs, Jaks crappy voice, going from a total badass to a normal guy who acts like a tough guy but can't be taken serious cause of his over the top forced voice. Jak 2 and 3...voice acting was flawless...last frontier...completely shat all over that. Jak went from WastelanderΒ and basically king...to a...pilot? In Jak 3 Jak looked epic, and...dat scarf man...dat scarf...loved it...and to go from that...to a blue leather jacket and white pants...he went from looking like a total badass out of the desert...to a happy pilot with hero complexity issues. In Jak 3 he was at some point sick of saving the world and even said that to Ashlyn with the "I'm through saving the world." That line sounded amazing. The last frontier completely crapped all over all that! And not only that but...did they nerf him or something? How is a random pirate...fighting toe to toe with Jak? Jak has been busting down walls, blowing up cars and alien spaceships, how is a random pirate fighting against him...and evenly matched!?

Well truth is, Naughty Dog didn't make TLF so i can't blame them for that, i can however, blame them for selling the rights to...uh...i don't remember who made TLF, but Naughty Dog should be ashamed of themselves for doing that. It's like how Capcom allowed Ninja Theory to make a Devil May Cry reboot, which, imo is not a bad game, but the story is just overly dramatic with no real base from what i've played (and yes i have completed the entire game along with the DLC story part).
Jak 4 has to come out. Naughty Dog has to release that to at least be able to keep up with Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper. Ratchet and Clank has a fuck ton of games on the PS3 and Sly Cooper has Thieves in Time. And what ottsel crap do you mean? You mean the plot at the end of Jak 3 Β about the precursors being ottsels? Dude I didn't even laugh at the twist, i just laughed at the reaction Jak, Daxter and Veger gave xD. Maybe they pulled it since in Jak 3 they started to swear and curse, though very minor, they did manage to sneak in Daxter saying "A big pile of sh*t i caught" even tho they tried to censor it, you can clearly hear him say it. That and the fact that you heard the word "Damn!" a lot, oh and in the first cut scene where thorn says "My men are getting their asses kicked!". That already started since Jak 2 tho, with Jak's opening line being " I'M GONNA KILL PRAXIS!" tho it isn't swearing or cursing in any way, it isn't really child friendly, then again what is child friendly these days (Ratchet and clank has almost every weapon the human mind can think of...just no sword...still want a sword...closest we got was the whip in Up Your Arsenal). Or *ahem* GTA5, CoD, Saints Row, Mortal Kombat...the list just goes on.

Im hoping a jak 4 will come, I shall never like jak3`s ending heh I liked how jak2 got dark then 3 they just turned it into some kind of kids story with a stupid ending ughhhh... naughty dog you fail so hard.

Hm...idk...i liked 3 due to the gameplay, not really the story. Jak and Daxter 1 had a pretty light hearted story, Jak 2 then suddenly turned pretty dark and then Jak 3 became somewhat of a mix between the 2 types (ironically " light jak and dark jak"). Though i didn't really see Jak treating dax as his pet, more like that brotherly relationship where they both have no problem with just smacking each other around xD. Either way...impact games...if thats the company should just stick to what they make and leave jak and daxter to their original creators, cause with these last few years jak and daxter has become a thing of the past...and i don't want that. There are so many things that still need explaining, like for example...who is Jak's mother? i loved how they revealed who Jak's father was, that moment actually made me drop a tear from my eye. I felt so sad for Jak, finally finding his father but finding out about it a second after he dies...and that was my favorite part of the story in Jak 3.
Jak 4 needs to follow up on that, i want to learn more about Jak's origins. Naughty Dog had better have a secret project on this...and if they do...first thing i'm gonna do issay:

I have to say though, I don't like Jak 4. High Impact Games didn't do the best job with the characters I don't think. Mike Erwin (Jak) didn't play Jak in this one. I was happy to see him back in PlayStation Heroes though. :3
