-JAK FANS THIS IS FOR YOU-I have been privy to INGAME footage of the Jak HD Collection and got a triple menu edit for you these are the MAIN MENU animations and as you can see they look EPIC!

My fiance and me had the theory that NDI WANTED the collection to look like crap so that they could use poor sales to say "People dont want a Jak4" I wouldnt put it past them...

part of me can't help but imagine Jak with Uncharted's quality.
I mean c'mon.. take Drake out of U3 and put Jak in the desert sequence....

At first i abhored the idea of uncharted for years. It wasn't until about 3 months before the release of 2 that I considered buying the first 'to see what it was about'. didnt actually /play/ it. just watched my boyfriendat the time play 1 and 2. He left before 3 hit so I had to play that one myself..
I like uncharted enough on its own, but I do still cling desperatly to the hope that we'll see a new jak. I do think the graphics should be a bit better qith higher rez textures and good shaders, not to say that those used in the previous games were bad or inferior in any way. its just they set a new bar for themselves when they made uncharted. If they went back now they'd be upsetting alot of fans.

It feelsl ike NDI dont give a crap about Jak anymore.. They left so many question unanswered and gave Jak3 one of the worst endings in human (or elfin) history.
Uncharted has its trilogy I think now they need to come back and give us more of what was one of the best sci-fi action actions ever =3

I read your journal, though I still don't quite understand...the screens that were shown looked as though they were in HD. :/ I understand that photomanipulation is possible, but photomanipulation can't make Daxter's exterior actually look like he has a coat of fur in his overall coloring. [link]
Or were you expecting a graphical upgrade? HD collections are never meant to improve the graphics, just improve the depth of field and the saturation of the colors, which is what it seems like it's doing.

Ive got a few collections and while I knew it wouldnt be PS Move heros good I was at least exspecting 60fps like every other hd collection, this just looks as slow as the ps2 version which BEGS the question "why not just get the ps2 versions"

Agreed. The graphics and textures in "Jak X" are an improvement, so it's sad not to see them in HD. But I DO see the likelihood of "Jak X" as being a downloadable game from the PlayStation Store after the collection's release.
