FINALLY! After 2 weeks of learning, lack of sleeping, stressing, and perfecting, I've finally done it! This is my first ever animated artwork!!(My wrist and head are really aching and cramping rn but I hope this'll all be worth it) Here is my lionsona entry for the challenge/contest made by Sapphic-Lioness (www.deviantart.com/sapphic-lio… ) Go check her out, and check out her contest to see who wins and the other amazing entries.
/CONTEST\ Design me a Lionsona!I have over 1500+ fragments and Idk what to do with them all, so I thought I'd try making a contest! I will award a diamond badge (core membership) to the top-three contestants, and for first prize I will also draw a full, custom piece of art. It will be a complete scene, fully shaded with semi-complex to complex background, with up to 4 characters. **UPDATE** I will also be awarding first place a prize of $20! I really have been wanting a lionsona, but I haven't really had the time to put much thought into it :[ Since my original username was Sapphire-Lioness, I was thinking that shades of blue should be incorporated into the design somehow. I enjoy the design of the lioness in my profile pic, and that could be considered in your inspiration- but not a direct copy. I also am not sure if I want a more realistic looking color pallet, or if I would prefer something genuinely blue-hued and unrealistic.. Feel free to have fun and play around! REQUIREMENTS- Must be a lioness! (I will consider maned-lionesses)- Sapphire blue should be included somewhere in the design. The pelt does not need to be blue, but I would like blue somewhere! Blue jewelry or accessories would be fine!- There are no restrictions on nose/face shape! That's pretty much it!!CONTEST ENDS MARCH 24th!!!! Now the hardest thing I had to make were the wings. And OMG, I had to resize, reshape, and recolor them countless times! It was really hard, especially since this was my 1st time ever drawing wings! And as you can imagine, I watched ALOT of tutorials and references to make these look good. But I've finally come to be satisfied with just this one. I think she turned out really beautiful and I hope you all like it too.

Sapphic-Lioness, I really hope you at least appreciate this entry and I hope you all enjoy it too. It doesn't entirely matter to me if I lose the contest or not, but I wanted to thank you for giving me this opportunity to draw this lioness and I'm glad to have been a part of it. Thank you. Bye!(I'm now gonna sleep till my body recovers)
