Thomas stood there in shock as he stared at Alice, who was happily staring back at him. He could feel his heart beating harder and a bit faster. Normally a vampire wouldn’t frighten him so, but he was currently unarmed. His stake and hammer were on his nightstand, and he had previously removed his coat, which held his silver cross in its pocket. He could run to get them, as they were only about ten feet away, but he had learned to never turn his back on a vampire. The only thing that stood between him and death was a thin glass window. And it only occurred to him now that he had forgotten to re-latch the lock on it…

Alice could hear his heart beating through the window, and she felt as if her own dead heart were soaring. She could hear the blood rushing through his veins; smell the delicious water of life flowing within him. He had always smelled absolutely divine, and now that she was so thirsty she knew she couldn’t help herself.

She managed to pull the window open, with assistance from her new claws, and jumped into the window to stand before Thomas. He took a slight step back, unsure of what she would do. He couldn’t help but look over her bare body, and felt his face heat up more. He knew he shouldn’t be thinking of such things at a time like this, but… it was so hard not to. He could see every lovely detail of her body. She did look a bit too thin though, as if she hadn’t been eating well. Still, this fact did not deter his thoughts from wandering.

“Hello my love~” Alice spoke in an eerily sweet voice, snapping Thomas out of his inappropriate thoughts, “I missed you so much,” she took a step towards him, but he took two back. “I wanted so very much to talk to you again~”

“A-Alice,” he hoped he could find his way to the nightstand without having to look behind him. He feared that she would attack him the second he looked away from her. “Why have you come here?” He took another small step back.

She took a step forward. “One of the servants told me that you wanted to talk to me.” Her eyes were bright with love and madness. “I am sorry that I took so long, I was just too shy to really approach you~” Another step forward.

Another step back. “I had wanted to ask you if you had been watching my partner and I in the park two weeks ago.” He mentioned nothing of his coming attempt to kill her, as he didn’t want to set her off.

“Yes, I was~!” She said so in such an overly sweet way. “I did not like the thought of you being with that woman rather than me.” Another step. Suddenly her strangely sweet smile vanished. “Then I heard you talking about killing vampires…”

Thomas became more worried. She was upset now, thinking of his occupation. She might attack. “I would never lay an unwanted finger on you, Miss Alice.” He said this with the most forced smile he could muster. He faked a sweet, loving tone for her, “I care for you far too much to ever harm you.” At least, that’s how it had been a couple weeks ago. But she was a vampire; he had to ignore his previous feelings for her.

Her eyes lit up, shining bright red, as her crazed smile returned. “Really?” Step. “You really mean that sir?” Step.

“Y-yes, of course.” He took another step back, but had not counted on the bed being right behind him. He ended up falling back on it so his legs were still touching the floor, but his torso was on the bed. He panicked a bit now, as he was in such a vulnerable position.

Alice straddled him with no hesitation, and his face became a brighter red. She let out a giggle that would normally have been so adorable, though now it was just creepy. “You are always making me blush, sir.” She leaned down so her face was closer to his, her chest almost making contact with his. “I am so glad that I can make you blush as well~”

Thomas gulped. He didn’t know what to do. Vampire women had tried to seduce him before, but they had little success. This was partially because he had had no previous feelings for those vampires… and, they had been fully clothed. Despite the great fear and confusion Thomas felt, he was also quite aroused. “A-Alice, please…”

She cocked her head to the side cutely. “Please what, sir?” At this moment she looked just as she had during the last time they had spent together; sweet and innocent.

Thomas felt an awful pang of sadness as he thought I will really have to kill you. “Please stop this,” he was not asking, really. “Please Miss Alice, get off of me.”

She was hurt by his gentle demand, and it showed on her face. “B-but, you just said you care for me…” She laid herself down on top of him and cuddled to him, causing him to stiffen up in more ways than one. “Please allow me to be close to you…”

She was in the perfect position to bite him; her head was nuzzled right at his collar, so very close to his neck. Thomas’s fear overcame his arousal and he quickly pushed her off of him, making her stumble back from the bed a bit. He sat up quickly and moved back on the bed, reaching around behind him in an attempt to find the nightstand on the other side of the bed without looking away from the vampire.

Alice just stood there, looking at him, watching him. Little tears welled up in her eyes, and Thomas froze. He’d never seen a vampire cry before. “I-I…” she sniffled a bit. He felt awful for pushing her away now. He knew he shouldn’t; she could have bit him then, he was just keeping himself safe from a monster. And yet, seeing her cry made him want to get up and just hold her, console her. So many conflicting thoughts and emotions in his head… “T-Thomas…” this was the first time he had ever heard her say his name. She had always just called him ‘sir’. “Why can’t I be close to you..?” One of those tears streamed down her face, and she sniffled again. “I-I love you Thomas, I want to be close to you.”

“Alice…” he felt as though he didn’t want to kill her anymore. He knew he had to though. “You know what I am truly hunting now. So why do you still wish to be near me?” He narrowed his eyes. “You risk your life by coming here. Or have you come to kill me?” He desperately wanted to make her seem like the bad guy here.

“I would never kill you!” she shouted, surprising him. Her expression became devastated, and another tear fell. “I-I came because I love you. A-And I wanted to tell you, I have been a good girl. I promise I have.” She wiped her eyes. “I have not drank blood in two weeks. I-I thought you would be happy…”

He blinked a couple times. This explains her sudden behavior, he thought, Her sanity is lacking because she has not had blood. He’d heard stories of vampires going bat-shit crazy after going longer than a week without blood. She actually did this for me? Again he felt the need to let her live. But it was too dangerous; he had to kill her. “That is impressive, Miss Alice,” he told her. He kept trying to find the nightstand without looking away from her. It was taking so long because, well, a nude vampire that could possibly attack you at any time is quite distracting.

She wiped her eyes again. “R-Really?”

He forced a smile. “Yes. I am very proud of you.” He felt the edge of the nightstand. Finally! He would feel much better once the source of his internal struggles was just a pile of ash on his floor. At least, he hoped he would.

“I am so glad!” She suddenly appeared right behind him on the bed, and he jumped a bit in surprise. He hadn’t thought she’d be able to use teleportation when she was so low on blood. Or perhaps she had just used vampiric speed. Either way, she was now sitting behind him. Her arms snaked around him, and she could feel him tense up. She whispered in his ear, “Please relax love~” her bravery from earlier had returned.

Fuck! Thomas mentally screamed. Alice’s arms were around him, he couldn’t grab the stake. She might bite him if he moved now. Though, part of him didn’t really want to move. He felt her gentle, but swift fingers make quick work of the buttons on his vest. He felt her warm breath on the back of his neck as she began unbuttoning his shirt as well. He wanted to struggle, to push her away again, but part of him just would not let him. Once she had finished unbuttoning the shirt, she slipped her hand into the open shirt and ever so lightly rubbed his chest. He couldn’t help but relax, enjoying her touch. He found it harder and harder to focus on his job… among other things that were getting harder.

Alice was more than happy to feel him relax. She continued to lightly rub his chest with one hand as she pulled his shirt and vest away from his neck with her other. Again, he wanted to struggle, but he just couldn’t. At this point he wasn’t sure if it was his own mind preventing this, or perhaps the sexual influence of a vampire.

He felt Alice’s warm tongue on his neck as she licked the spot she liked most; that tender area right at the base of the neck, just meeting the shoulder. He relaxed further against his will, enjoying how this felt. It had been years since he’d been with a woman, and being with one like Alice was all the more alluring.

“Ah~” she let out a sigh of content. “You taste wonderful love~” She nuzzled that sensitive spot, and Thomas couldn’t hold in a small moan. Alice’s eyes light up when she heard this.

“A-Alice…” his thoughts were getting clouded by his emotions and basic human instincts. Her touch was so much more thrilling than a human girl’s would be; it was addictive. With each small moment that she stopped her sweet caresses, he mentally begged her to continue. As if she could read his thoughts, she always did continue.

“My love~” She moved her hand, that had been rubbing his chest, down a bit lower, towards his stomach. She rubbed circles into his skin, only relaxing his body further. She nuzzled his neck lovingly, in such a soothing manner. But this warm feeling was quickly replaced with sharp pain as she sank her fangs into the tender flesh there.

Thomas let out a gasp as his body stiffened, only to quickly relax again as pleasure overtook him. “O-oh…” He felt his mind go fuzzy as Alice drank from him, draining him ever so slowly. The pleasure of it all was overwhelming; he’d never felt anything like this before. A bit of drool slipped out of his mouth as his entire body relaxed, leaning back against Alice. His face was bright red, though the red slowly faded as more of his blood left his body and entered Alice’s. Her dead heart began to beat slowly thanks to the new flow of blood, and he could feel it; their hearts beat in sync. It was a form of closeness, of intimacy, that Thomas had never imagined. In these few moments, any doubts or fear he once felt just completely melted away. All that was left was the two of them and the pleasure she gave him.

Alice continued to drink from him for a bit longer than she should have, and the poor hunter passed out from the loss. At this point, she removed her fangs from his neck and lightly kissed the spot she bit. “We will be together forever~” she said softly to him, though he did not hear this. She gently shifted him so that his head lay in her lap, and the rest of his body lay on the bed. Soon Thomas’s sweet blood would settle in her system, and her sanity would return to her. One can only wonder how she will react to her actions when she realizes what she has done.
