The woman in the white dress ran through the snow. Her Auburn hair flaired around her, collecting a few falling snowflakes. The world around her was painted white, the trees giving her no form of shelter. A light blush from the cold was over her nose and cheeks, and her soft but quickened breath the only sound. The snow was soft, making no sound under her. She turned her head, green eyes a sharp contrast against her pale skin. She looked forward again, trying to run faster.

She ran over what she thought was snow, but was truely ice. She fell through, the coldness penetrating through her like a million knives. She had inhaled water, when she had meant to cry out in surprise. The combination of fatigue, lack of air, and the coldness caused her to fade into the blackness around her. She closed her eyes, sinking farther into the black waters. Her white world being lost above her.
