Akhanta had been isolated for several weeks. She had been following her urges and thought it safer to have the cubs away from the dangerous and sadistic lions who participated in her group.

The cubs had already opened their eyes, and she knew it was time to go back. It was a risky decision to isolate and have the cubs in a den in the desert, but she was lucky to find a hiding place near an oasis, so it wasn't It is difficult to find food to produce milk.
