Bardhyl felt her blood boil, it was no longer enough for that lioness to face her and refuse to care for her cub, she dared to turn her back on him.

-You can't turn your back on me and her! she was born having to trust you, she had no choice !! Take your responsibilities! -The lion screamed despite the calm expression, in reality, he was controlling himself not to tear that female's throat.

The lioness turned to face the great albino lion, she advanced on him, snarling and showing her claws and teeth. She showed no fear, even if the lion in front of her, was twice her size.

-I don't think you noticed, but I don't have a maternal instinct! If you want her to survive, take! I won't lose my life taking care of a cub."

I made a drawing demonstrating the "loving" relationship between Bardhyl and Callidora lol XD

This happens a few weeks after Callidora gave birth to Odete. She is not a bad lioness, she just rejected the cub as many other mothers in the wild do. I believe that she has an aversion to the world of motherhood for having separated from her mother when she was young, and believes that she did not want to seek her out.

This illustration was entirely made and created by me (including the background), for not using it without giving credit to the artist.
