Description
One of the reasons I decided to redo my earlier picture of Marina was because I had entertained the idea of drawing the consequences of hanging out with an orca pod. Of course, this is dependant on just how compatible mer-people and whales actually are, but I figure sine orca are aquatic mammals, this isnβt too hard to picture. As an added bonus, this allows me to make the old clichΓ©d "beached whale" pun, and I never could avoid the bad puns.

Just gotta sketch it out. Picture the legs merging together and that's half the job done right there.

Google image search whale tails, and try and draw something based on that.

If those knockers could've gotten ANY bigger, they certainly have now. Although, if she's pregnant by a whale, shouldn't she be bigger?

Dude, this rocks. Reminds me of an amphibious species I developed a few years ago. o.o (biggest difference is that said species had legs as well as a tail).

Very nice effort, and also cute. Everything's been said about Marina that can be, I think, but...nice ripple effect on the water.

It is a very well done pic. The water effect and those delightful blue eyes are great. Also a big belly and large breasts never hurt.

Wierd... I'd think she'd enjoy the bouyancy of the water over the raw gravity on land.... but then again, you have to do the pun at one point in the belly drawing career (I have yet to do that).
Of everything in this picture, I'd have to say my favorite part is her face, and more specifically, her eyes. Not to say the rest of her isn't good (and BTW, she's damn sexy ), but the cool blue color of her eyes rocks. Nice work.

nice work ^^ I kinda thought a pic like this would be tough to work with since she has no legs and it can be a bit tricky to put a belly on her

But she is Half Killer Whale not half fish, and whales give birth to live young. I liked the concept of that in the original drawing, would be interesting to see this with other Marine Mammals.
