So, this is to address some of the recent commentary in a funny and most likely futile way, since hey, I supposedly have a sense of humor.Elena Chistiakov and Emi Saito of Miss Mars are complete opposites. Elena is tall and angry and punk and not as pregnant, while Emi is tiny and shy and has a hello kitty collection bigger than her waistline.
So, here's one of the few things they probably agree on. A complete lack of respect people seem to have for an expectant woman's personal space.

I just did touch those huge bellies on my pc screen! Ha Ha ha! I poked the short ones belly thinking it would pop! I can't believe she didn't burst open!

ment more positive then it sounds but this is the only pregnant anime pic i have scene that is not creepy/nasty/sexual and there for i would say more power to you im a bit sick of the scary out of proportion drawings also i dont know why people want to rub there belly personally that would creep me out doing it and if i was the girl i would kind of be pissed >.<

You'd think, with all the medical advances that we've made that make pregnancy so much more plesant than in the past (which women have endured for thousands of years) that people would treat it more as a blessing, rather than some kind of curse. But more and more I hear people talking about having kids/pregnancy like it's some kind of horrible STD. 
I understand that being pregnant isn't a trip to Disneyland, that it's painful and unsettling a lot of the time, but ultimately I think that it will be worth it. I don't want anyone calling me "poor thing" when I decide to have kids in the future. It's going to be my choice to do so and hope that others can respect the fact that pain matters little to me when I'm carrying something as precious as a living child.
*sigh* oh well, can't expect too many people to sympathize with my point of view.
