I tried to work with loose design/textures... i like the way it turned out...except the guy that should've been worked more... that brush has no business in this style but i was very bad at character design..now i'm a tad better(can't wait to show you my next work

I see what you mean. Lots of depth and inferred detail even though there isn't a lot of precise details.
But I think making some very random brushes then distorting those might fit my work-flow better.
I'll try some photobashing someday, I should start snapping some photos for it too.
Cool scene, sad and dreary. The storm is very supernatural, the figure is too.

yes exactly ! i used around 3 types of brushes here. as you can see on the trees they are pretty roughly drawn also...
Most of the time was added into the thunder design
Photobashing added only in water , i'm glad you like it
the water drops were added later with some effect to make it look unfocused .
