I haven't really been able to draw anything the last couple weeks that didn't turn out to be garbage. So I thought I'd try something completely different.And here it is. I might do a few more like it just to make a series of posters for myself. That might be cool.
This is Hellcat, singer for one of my favourite bands The Creepshow. Who just happen to be playing two shows here this weekend. Good times.
And I should note that I used one of textures.

I really love how the background came out. It's so trashy looking. Also it has a very pleasant color scheme.
However, there's a feeling that something's missing in her face... Lack of emotion, maybe.
But overall it looks good (:

Thanks man. I tried passing it along through myspace but I don't know if it made it or not. The weekend where they played back to back shows here with the Matadors was one of the best times I've ever had. And I really dig your photography. Every picture made me wish I had been there.

Man you're killing me. For the last two months I've been planning to go to my friends place in Cobourg that weekend. I didn't know at the time it's the con. I'm kicking myself now because I'm only going to be 45 minutes up the road and won't make it. You should make the trip to London the next time they're here with the Matadors. I think it's supposed to be October. I'll introduce you to a beer... I don't have real connections.
