It's crazy how much your style has changed in the last year. Looks friggin cool though, just in a completely different way.
Like the use of 2 light sources - very much like a photographic studio portrait. All the little details like the dribble, bits on the claws and the crazy look in his eye all do it for me.

i think he's the most defined from all of your paintings so far. i'm not really sure but i think it's the lighting that really makes him come alive. except for the clothes which is still a bit... muddy? not sure about the right word. soft or blurry maybe? still... pretty fuckin awesome sir.

Thanks Oni. I agree with you about the clothes. Originally I did it like that because I didn't want it taking away from the face but then it kind off looking a bit lazy.
Painting is still relatively new to me as well so there are many areas that I still need to work on.
