"Journey to the highest point of this land, child and don't stop until you can see the moon set behind the mountains and the light of your sun rise above you." Raven opened his beak and placed the glowing warm sphere in Aries' hands.
Thunder Bird peered over her shoulder, in complete awe at what he was seeing before him. He had so many questions he wanted to ask Raven but knew his chirps would just fall on death ears. Despite this, just being able to witness all the supernatural powers of Gravity Falls with Aries was rewarding enough.
No job in Washington could ever give him such experiences! In a way, being a kestrel was his own spiritual journey, even though he didn't get much of a choice.

"B-but, how am I suppose to get it into the sky? I don't have wings like you do." Aries gawked in wonder at the sun in hands, surprised by how light it felt in her hands.

"You will know." Raven smirked.
"And why exactly do I have to do this?"
"You will see." He opened his wings and hunched down to take off. "It's quite literally a journey of enlightenment!" He pushed off from the ground and soared into the sky and toward the mountains. "Good luck young Pine Tree!" His voiced echoed in their heads. "And let your father's pride guide you!"

At the mention of her dad, Aries sighed, her shoulders sinking. Pride? How could she let his pride guide her after all that had happened? He was no where to be found...and presumed to have ran away from his responsibilities to her.
The falcon on her shoulder looked up at Aries with a look of concern before bumping her with his head.
You have to try! Will thought, spreading his wings and taking off ahead of her, calling back to her. Let's get going!

"Thunder Bird!" Aries tucked the sun under arm and jogged after him. "Wait for me!"

Aries takes on a spiritual quest from the Pacific Northwest's greatest legend, The Raven.

A very random picture I drew, but I love the idea of making Raven one of the new creatures that live in Gravity Falls!
