Didn't write that at the top because hopefully this drawing will inspire someone to color it for me
The second drawing I drew for giggles then made me think of the meme that's been on my laptop for forever and decided to work on it at last
The end of the movie always made me want to cry and my heart ache for Jareth. I would sit watching the screen, waiting for Sarah to open up the window and invite him in to join the party. Still do.

I didn't like the end either. Poor Jareth...now it is up to us fangirls to comfort him...doesn't sound that bad though.

I don't get how some think it's a happy ending; it's not. Maybe for Sarah it is, but Jareth loved her. *sniff*

I agree, and maybe it might have been my imagination--or because I've been reading too much fanfiction--but when Sarah refused him and won the game, and the labyrinth was crumbling all around her, and the crystal popped in her hands, there was this one moment where the look on her face said "Oh God, what have I done?"

My goodness, you draw too many amazing things dearie. I cannot even tell you how many of your sketches I have flat-painted right now. (Then again, I probably have at least a hundred+ such flat painted linearts of many different varieties lying around on my hd...need the gusto to finish them but it's always so intimidating! haha)
Anyhow, I obviously love this piece. We all know Sarah has a love of animals anyhow, so why not a special soft-spot for poor, spluttering, shut-out-in-the-cold owl Jareth? Of course, him being in that form makes it considerably harder to argue as well...
And how you manage to get sulkiness to come across on a bird of all things, I cannot even fathom, but done and done ma'am.

I couldn't agree more, that's the only reason she's civil to him because he's so cute and fluffy and can't defend himself in an argument
As for the sulkiness, he always looked as though he were sad in the last scene, like he was sulking because he lost the one thing that he would have done anything for
