[[Lirolai are a species made by =Kimquat They are not an open species! Please don't make one without her permission.]]This is my basic idea for my Liroluce, Violet. As they are hermaphroditic by nature, it has no organs that would determine the sex, however, she feels very feminine and prefers to be seen that way. Feeling she is of show quality (having been raised in a home with show bred Italian Greyhounds), she tends to hold her head high and keep herself tidy and neat. She has a collar and will sometimes tie ribbons on her forelimbs to emphasize the beauty she see in herself. That being said, she isn't full of herself by any means. She likes to take care of others and has a very loving heart.

What a really cute species design and especially cute member of it, you did a great job! I love the little ribbon idea. Now I'm curious if a hermaphroditic species even has the mental capacity or capability to be able to think of the concept of gender without an outside source implanting it into them. I have a hermaphroditic species of my own, and never thought of this question til now, thank you for THE ENLIGHTENMENT

Well, then thanks to the BOTH of you in that case haha! Cause now I need to sit and think about that for my poor little Porigaro people, that species is already such a mess to empathically imagine how they think. The poor dears, they reproduce hermaphroditically, but not even by choice, their bodies just start to bud every so often a baby that will grow on a random one of their limbs, unwarranted and unpreventable child bearing must be really strange for the mind to comprehend and cope with! But then again, am I only saying that because I'm a human and have the CHOICE to not rear young... HMM. Alien minds, why must they be so.. Alien.

That sounds more like asexual reproduction, actually. But yes- Alien thoughts are just that- hard to grasp for our human minds.
