Description RAM☍Shackle Processurge
Level ✪ 4 | ATK 1800 / DEF 800
DARK / Cyberse / Effect

Effect:
When this card inflicts battle or effect damage to your opponent: Apply the effect of a Normal Spell in your GY with the same name as this card, that meets its activation conditions, and if you do, banish it. You can only use each of the following effects of "RAM☍Shackle Processurge" once per turn. You can declare 1 Normal Spell's card name; this card's name is also treated as the declared card's name while it is face-up on the field. If this card is sent from the field or Deck to the GY: Send 1 "RAM☍" card from your Deck to the GY.
---
Processurge is another consistency booster for the 'RAM☍Shackle' archetype, being able to readily put any of your 'RAM☍Shackle' monsters in the GY (to trigger their effects), or Normal Spells, in order to utilize their copying effects.  While not an extremely exciting design, Processurge is one of a trio of Maindeck monsters within the strategy that complete a cyclical loop, ala Cir-Dante, to ensure the damage-based effects are allowed to go off.  This design is emblematic of the push & pull of "Gimmick vs Utility" that a lot of Custom Card Design hinges around, wherein you want the Deck to be able to consistency pull off their unique mechanic, but do so in novel ways.

Trivia: Processurge is, to some extent, part of a duality with Memorazor, being opposites in both name and color scheme.  This card's name is a portmanteau of Process & Surge, whereas Memorazor is obviously Memory & Razor.  The idea was to weave in both computer-memory-hardware jargon and aggressive words to each of their names, alongside 'RAM☍Shackle', which is a triple pun in of itself.

Note: DeviantART doesn't let me include Unicode symbols in the title, so imagine every instance of 'RAMShackle' is 'RAM☍Shackle'.
