Iridius respects few people. Andrew, Jodak, Peli, Dudley, Sky, Gala, Pyyrn, Osmus, and Ixora. The reason she respects Andrew is because he was the one to give her a break and a commission.
It's a little known fact that when Iridius left the Light Kingdom, she had a very difficult time adjusting to civilization. She had an impulse to kill and for the first time she was being told that killing was bad. So, after many decades of killing relatively few people, she was commissioned by the Human government to go after terrorists, warlords, and the like.
