Description
This is my second oil painting ever!but yeah, over the course of three months, I learned many things about oil painting, such as layering color, using a binder of linseed oil and turpentine, and some other cool effects. I hope you enjoy!
And of course, any comments will be appreciated.
Oil on canvas, 18x24 inches. About 30 hours.

this is really awesome~ i love oils as well~ Although i have only used it once to paint a portrait. its sooo smooth~ <3 I love it way more than acrylics which is much more "rough"
Although i think you did a too much detail in the background because it is shifting the focus from the person to the things beside her.

Thanks hon. Actually, I was careful to use more colds in the background to make it recede, as well as faded coloring, and there's pretty much just the rocks, some trees,a river, and a fence, lol.

Okay, well, I tried to make it less detailed (fade into the background and such), but I'm still trying to grasp a lot of the painting fundamentals. :3
