"One night, when I was a little one, I woke up in the middle of the night and saw the star filled skies above. I called to my da and he patiently spend hours answering my questions until I wore myself out and fell asleep. From that night on he'd often try and teach me about the stairs, their drawings and how to read them. I wasn't very good and remembering his lessons, and eventually they stopped, but I never lost my fascination with the night sky. If I had known he'd be gone so soon, I'd paid a lot more attention to his lessons. "

Oh my god, this is so cute :3
Little Daemyn looks overly sweet.
The anatomy looks great and I like the moonlight shine on their backs

I actually forgot daddy's butt spots! He's got a blanket similar to Dae's aaaarh XD I have to fix that as soon as I have time.
Little Dae is -very- fascinated with those stars.

I use a lot of photo reference x3 I have a two-screen setup, so I can have reference on my side monitor and draw on the main. Really, nothing beats reference!
That said, thank you so much for the comment

I just love finding the most odd angle photos out there, and use them for practice sketches. I have tons of sketches lying about in random folders, just waiting to be used for -something-.

It's definitely a fun challenge to use odd angles. c: It works out for the best in the end though. ^-^
