Donal is the everyman.. not always good, not always bad, not always sane... thats why we love him

You know WHY he is anxious? Because HE IS CONTINUALLY OVERSHADOWED BY THE TYRANNACY OF MICKEY MOUSE. Mickey Mouse is what every man wants to be; friendly, successful, lucky, perfect. Donald Duck is what every man is; easily angered, frustrated, prone to mistakes, and flawed. Donald Duck rocks.

Wow, you know, I could totally see this.
But when you actually go in-depth, each and every disney character has some internal issues to deal with. With Donald, I always saw an extreme anger problem, and then the regret that follows it leading to extreme depression, and possible self-injury.
Yeah, I really think about these things Sad, I know right? You should hear my Kingdom heart's psychological rant, whoo-boy, that takes a while XD

well he was created to take on all of Mickey's negative personality traits. Then Mickey could be a nicer guy.. so Donald is the embodiment of negativity.

Cool work- it's a bit strange to see Donald down on the dumps, but it's even stranger to see him wear pants Awesome take on the character- I like the colors and overall graffiti esque look- kudos!
Also, I can't quite put my finger on it, but his outfit here kinda reminds me of Charlie's from "Lost" - [link]

I don't know what to say to this piece, though it's very brilliant.
It just makes me... so sad.
I doubt that aggravated is a good word, but I'm just sorry about whatever happened to him. And I am welling up with a very child-like feeling of feeling that something didn't go quite right. And I feel like I'm 5 years again and lost something I loved dearly.
It's very hard to explain.
But thank you for drawing this. It's a very emotional piece.

The thick cartoony lines against the toned-down colour pallette and soft colour style give this a lovely contrast and convey the mood perfectly

it was a dream...but still..
he was disturbed by it all.
it is one of the extra cartoons on the 2nd
donald collection...they even warn people
"hey this is a war cartoon, times were different then."

Yeah. Back then, they could get away with exposing kids so much horrible shit, it wasn't even funny. Oh, wait. Yes. Yes it was. In fact, it was uproarious.

yeah, it is an episode were he becomes a army recruit.
Then at one point he thinks that he lost the lower half of his body..
so don ponders suicide and even holds a gun to his head...

It's a sad, but brilliantly done piece.
To be honest, sometimes I wonder what would happen if he were like this in a canon sense. He's
usually angry and a little more optimistic, as such.
To see him like this kinda eases curiosity. And in a very effective manner. I love your technique.
Great job, mate.
