a little exercise I was doing while employed at the Disney/MGM Studios here in Orlando. Was intended to use as part of a shingle along with my name if'n I ever got the position of character artist for the company...needless to say ,I didn't...which is ok, think I would go nuts if'n I had ta draw cutie cute characters all the time...plus I've been told it's not the most secure job in the world.Donald Duck is my favorite all time main Disney character, that's why I used him for the illustration.

Sorta scary - yet understandable... Everybody loves him - Funny thing is it seems that Mickey mouse is a much more famous character in the USA, whilst Donald def. got the lead over in Europe. Or, that's what I've heard.
Anyhoo - It is not that strange that this particular piece is so very popular - You did do a great job with him.

No problem- and we did! That was back when "Lilo & Stitch" first came out, and the studio was hard at work on both "Treasure Planet" and "Brother Bear"

What do you do, they practically draw themselves.
Anywho, loved the doodle. Especially the tension in the pic. His expression, and how he's gripping the table, really tells it. Poor Donald.

Donald is my favorite too!!! Great job!! When I went to Disneyland four years ago(it was four years ago!!!??) I got the best pin ever of Donald, it's when he's stormin mad. I love Donald when he's mad.

BTW-you look in my gallery closely you'll find another Donald piece together with Darkwing Duck-did it for a German Donald/Phantomias fan, it's called "Quack Attack".
