"Looking out to sea"Finally finished this one. I began drawing and coloring it with colored pencil which you can see in the face and hair. Then... I messed up an eye very badly because I didn't use the right kind of paper. So I ended up using my old scan of the face (so glad I did that before I ruined it). = D Then I added in the clothing, sword, background, and a few extra highlights with MS Picture It! Publishing - all done with a mouse. x_x But, I had fun doing that. Plus I learned some more techniques with my program. I hope you enjoy my vision of a more realistic Wind Waker Link.
Edit: One more edit for the Gipper.

^_^ Thank you! I kept editing it since people were seeing some things that were wrong with it (nose/mouth). This was more of an eye study, so I'm glad you like it.

Constructive crits are fine and all, but when people say things like "that's not what I thought he'd look like," or something like that, that's totally crossing the line.

Yeah, I ignored that one ignorant comment about Link not looking like what he should, because I believe in what you stated, too. If everything looked the same, we wouldn't have art. I hate posting on the Fan Art board anymore just for that reason. I didn't mind the crits, though. I'm always trying to improve, but if I want the character to look a certain way, then that's that. = P

I know, right? I've heard "Link looks like a girl" so many times that I wanted to shoot Fan Art to to pieces.
But yeah, crits are good, o'course... but sometimes, people don't know how to do them. >.>

Hm? The face is really good, but what up with shirt and sword? They look sorta... chunky.

Because the outfit and sword were done on my computer program. I'm still learning. I'm glad you like the face, though. That was mostly hand-drawn. = P
