And yes, I'm recycling the art OTL I swear I'll redo the picture asap. I JUST unpacked all my art and want to get this in.

Name: Phobos

Age: 22

Sex: Identifies with Male

Height: 6'2"

Weight: 120lbs

Species: Lifesize doll

More specifically he is a cloth doll created of a rather thick, firm material. His eye is glass. His hair is real human hair (it can't grow. Cut it and the damage is permanent). His right eye and mouth are sewn shut (however he can unstitch them. His right eye is merely an empty socket and his mouth has sharp teeth and a tongue. It leads to his hollow inner body)

He CAN talk. The stitches on his mouth are loose enough to allow him to speak.

Sexuality: Asexual, biromantic. In short, he'll hold hands and cuddle but that's as far as he'll ever take his romances.

Talents:
-He's a dark magic generator. He has yet to figure out how to use it himself but anyone within a few feet of him will receive a magic boost.
-He can use limited dark magic which allows him to
*extend his fingers into claws
*Stitch and unstitch parts of his body
*Control the whisps at the end of his clothes
-He's pretty strong, but on that note, he's also extremely clumsy. Usually he just accidentally breaks things.
-He has a near photographic memory

Weaknesses:
-Fire
-Having strings unraveled or body parts ripped off. He CAN repair himself but it's not instant. Stitching/reattachment takes time.
-He likes following orders and will do so no matter what it is unless it does physical harm to his own body.
-His methods of following orders are rather unorthodox. Example being if you dropped something under a couch and asked him to retrieve it he'd probably end up throwing said couch or demolishing it to get your item.
-He is clumsy in his actions
-He is very slow
-His body is slowed further by water. Think of damp cloth.
-He has OCD. If something is not done right he will start over and do it again until it is.
-His thought process is pretty out there
-He's extremely naive and will believe most things told to him

Likes:
-Shadows, darkness, children, small spaces, being of use to others, orders

Dislikes:
-Fire, losing limbs or ripping them, washing machines

History:
There once were two brothers who lived alone together in an apartment. One studied dark magic while the other was more interested in the sciences. They often would debate about their two fields and which was superior. Oddly enough, this only brought them closer together. After one particularly heated discussion when the magic-minded brother had finished studying a spell concerning souls the two came upon an idea.

What if they combined their skills to create their own beings? Was it possible? Would it end up a monster or a success? Could science and magic really work together?

And thus they set off creating a number of creatures and testing their skills. One of these creatures was Phobos.

He was their first humanoid creation, kept to cloth in case they needed to dispose of him. Because burning fabric is far less messy than burning dead flesh. As a joke, since they were creating a 'monster', they modeled him off their neighbor's teenage boy. Sewing the mouth shut was part of the joke, since the boy never EVER shut up and always had to engage the brothers in a conversation upon seeing them.

Placing a manmade soul into him, they were ecstatic when their experiment worked. Even more so when they discovered how obedient he was. Of course, that might have been due partially to the fact that they used a fraction of a stray dog's being in making Phobos' soul. He was the center of their attention long enough for them to understand HOW they made him. Then he was ignored and left to be maid of the apartment for the rest of his 22 years.

During that time he witnessed more and more experiments made before finally the brother's antics came to light and the two were jailed. Most of the experiments were caught and killed, however some escaped. Phobos was one of them.

With his new freedom he tried to find a place to go, only to realize he honestly had no idea how to get around, fit in or...really do anything.

He had tried a school but after a number of rejections and the graduation of the people he followed he gave up there and returned to his wanderings.

It wasn't long before he came across The Toy Store and caught word of 'living dolls'. Seeing as he was one, he went to check it out.

Personality:
He likes learning things through observation so it's not uncommon for him to stare at things or stalk them innocently around. He is a very curious individual.

He is also a man of few words. He hates speaking unless he has to. When he does he tends to be blunt.

He enjoys being given and following orders, not caring if he is being used or not.

He also takes everything seriously as well as doing things at his own pace.

Extra Facts:
-Phobos is empty inside. He is just a shell of cloth harboring a soul
-His default expression is a glare. He means nothing by it.
-He has the bad habit of copying other's habits. For example, if he met a person who had to knock on a door three times before entering he would adopt that action for himself.
-His motions tend to be rather...floppy and unnatural. It's rather obvious he's a doll in other words.
-He has a 'brother' of sorts made from flesh. He really doesn't like him
-As said before, he generates dark magic but can't use it well enough himself so most of it is just sent out and free for use. If you're a dark magic user and Phobos is nearby, expect a random boost in power
