Description
Roses are one of the most beautiful flowers to exist. However, the sharp thorns that cover their stems harmall who touch them unprotected. Sometimes, it is the loveliest things that are the most destructive.
It is the things we love most intensely that also bring us the greatest pain.
I've been wanting to try my hand at lineless art, and this is my second-ever attempt at it. It may not be perfect, but all things considered, I'm actually pretty content with how it turned out, especially since roses are so complicated even just to draw. Lineless art is certainly a challenge, but it does produce some interesting results, and I might make further attempts at it in the future.

That's...really good ^^
I've tried coloured lineart (I know there's a difference between that and lineless art), and I actually read about a way to do it that's really handy, it has to do with a 'transparency lock' option in the layers window, but this is in Photoshop, I don't know if you use that or another program ehehe

Roses are ungreatfull beasts. And so pretty. But still.
Two times in the year, I have to cut them back, so that they can grow better and don't hurt themselfes. And what do they give me? Blood on my hands and scars on my arms. And I still love them.
Very nice picture. Maybe you could have done the outlines a little bit darker, but that's not a big point.

Ouch. For all their thorns, they're still awfully vulnerable, ironically.
I feel like roses could be good metaphors to describe a number of different kinds of people, haha.
I'll admit the outlines should probably be darker, but it can be hard to create lines that are defined enough
without standing out too much at the same time in this kind of art style. It's something I'll definitely want to work on
the next time I attempt this style.
