Description
Just a quick something I whipped up for Poser/Daz Studio. I've chosen the colors seen here to show the detail more clearly (though I personally think mine looks cooler than the chips seen in TNG and Voyager)The Chip is uv mapped. The base (blue part seen here) is it's own material zone. The "Circuit" part is a separate material that uses a transmap (I've included one transmap and a blank UV Map) to gain the effect. This will allow you to change the look of the chip as needed. I've chosen the colors seen here to show the detail more clearly. This model is VERY low poly, allowing you to numerous chips with little problem.
The rod is strictly diffuse colors. This is means for a higher poly count than normal for a cylinder, but the effect is worth it. This model has four material zones.

B'Elanna and Geordi would love to get their greasy hands on those.

And I'm sure Quark would love to purchase any rods you may be willing to sell... he's also open to "interesting" trades.

BTW, considering your DA name, you'll probably get a kick out of the names of the USS Jeanne D'Arc's auxiliary craft.

What an interesting little toy you made!
Methinks I can mod this to make a Commonwealth P.A.S.S. (Portable Analytically Sensor Suite) unit.
The rod might also be a suitable design for a nano-driver…
