Trying to get back to my classic Disney roots even more; been drawing anime so much, I kind of need a breath of fresh air. (doesn't mean I'll stop altogether, now )

I'm pretty much just mixing up characters; in this particular picture, I thought I'd mix two characters who know each other, but not in the forms presented. Simba and Kovu met well after Simba was grown with a daughter of his own. Even at that time, Kovu was also grown. I thought it'd be interesting to see the two together in their cub forms, just as sort of a comparison and contrast thing. I'm thinking of doing the same thing with either Mufasa and Adult Simba (since so many seem to confuse the two; there are distinct differences) or with Adult Simba and Adult Kovu. Maybe even with Young Nala and Young Kiara. We'll see...

Sorry about Simba's coloring; the colors that I used together didn't blend as well on him as with Kovu.
