And Mytho... Rue is holding him. He'll get a close up too but I wanted to upload these.
Speaking of whcih, I had hoped to get these drawings done in December, when the Princess Tutu contest was going on. But I was having trouble coming up with the right scenarios and designs for all of them. Eventually I took inspiration from the original book, 'The Nutcracker and the Mouse King', the ballet, The Nutcracker Prince, and this wonderful Russian adaption www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKqaKD… No one talks, its all MUSIC and I LOVE IT!

I actually have a story forming in my head, but I don't think I'll write it out, since I still got a few other stories I am in need of updating. But for a basic idea,
Ahiru/Duck is a maid for Rue's family. She silently watches the goings on never allowed to interfere or join in play time. But she's still the same wonderful sweet and caring girl so she keeps on smiling as she works, looking up to Rue and her sisters.

Rue is the middle child of her two sisters. The older of which she both idolizes and is angry with because she is 'perfect' to her parents and the role model for the younger ones. Which is also why Rue looks a little older than she is, 'cause her family is wanting her and her little sister to grow up.

Fakir is still the knight to the prince, but was turned into a nutcracker along with the prince after failing to protect him. As further punishment, he is forced to use a shield instead of sword. If the design on the shield looks familiar, kudos to you! It is actually the Sheath of Mytho's sword!

And that's all I'm giving for now until I draw more. ^_^
