A Re-creation of Dig Dug sprites I've made to see that is it possible to improve it's sprites, and it came out pretty good. All of this might be able to port in to the game it self by using YY-RCH, but I'm just a beginner on this kind of thing, so It's might be a while till I fill all the sprites in or else I'll drop it.

But that's not the point, the point is Namco can re-make it's game instead of re-release it to make it more interesting, but they choose the lazy way by re-release all the classic and tied it together then sold the product. They have no interesting in their IP didn't they?
