Changeling Commander. Or at least that's what I've decided to assume he is. I could only find one instance of this variation of changeling in the entire episode, while the rest (queen aside) are identical. His back half was blocked in the shot, so I had to make some assumptions.
Updated 06/18/12: Fixed stroke width errors in the left foreleg, and a rendering error in the tail.

Would be nice to see a few more voiced Changeling characters if the ever bring them back. I could see a Grim-like voice working pretty well for this guy.

Did you hate that right hind leg? I hated it so much when I did mine, just cause it looks so awkward and is the same color as everything in the background.
Also it's cool that you decided to use the 'mane,' maybe I should add that to mine.

The leg was a bit of a pain. I think I used the leg I had vectored for the normal changeling as a starting point for it, warping it to fit the pose the Commander was in. Other than the armor, they reuse most of the same assets so there were plenty of potential shortcuts to take. I did tweak the wings a bit though, to make them a little larger, but it appears you've beaten me on that account--yours are somewhat more impressive, which was the effect I was going for. I also like your take on the scrollwork on his armor; mine doesn't stand out as much as I'd like. Did you even notice it on my version of the helm? I can barely see it, and I know it's there... and I didn't add any on the body armor. I may go back and fix that later.
If you notice, in the original scene, right between the horn and right ear of the changeling in front of the Commander, you can see the top two points of his mane, just enough to line it up (again, almost the same mane as the normal changeling model).

I did notice the scroll work on the helm, I think it looks much closer to the shows representation.
I will confess that I took quite a few liberties with the design which was my effort to get mine out before any other vector artists did. That said the only ones I've seen was yours and another from someone in the vector club I think. They also called him(?) commander, so I'm outnumbered in that respect.
Also when I saw yours I opened both this one and mine in separate tabs then began rapidly switched between them. The slight morph is kind of amusing.
Anyway I'll have to watch your gallery so I don't double up on you again... and cause you seem pretty cool as well.

I did the same thing, quick-switching between both versions. It's actually pretty interesting to see someone else's take on the same thing, especially since this particular vector required some guesswork because of the blocked-off portions of the subject.

*nods* I agree! My version seems to be the brightest of the bunch. It sticks out when I compare it to others. x.x That makes me wonder if I should maybe tweak the colors. I've been tab switching also with all three of our takes on it. Quite fun. =3 And I think everyone has settled on the name "Commander" for now if not as a name, then as a title.
