This is one thing that bugged me about the wedding. The farther they went, the less Chrysalis actually looked like Cadence. It ended up getting to the point where her facial expressions looked absolutely nothing like Cadence, and yet still nopony was able to figure it out.

To be fair to her, she only pulled THOSE particular expressions while in private.
That said, this episode handed a huge Idiot Ball to everybody. INCLUDING CHRYSALIS.
