ForThe way she draws these two always give me a giggly feeling, and I promised I would make an attempt of the pairing
I do wonder, what would have happened if Goten was female? We could have had our first super saiyan female, and an official female fighter. I believe this would have changed the game to some extent. Such as Trunks being more motivated to help Goten (after Buu turned Chi Chi into an egg), and therefore Gotenks wouldn't have slacked off as much?
What do you guys think 0.o? I am very interested to hear some theories.

Dragon ball characters do not use hair gel so I don't know where you even got such an idea from. Goten,s hair is also a combo of his original hair and raditz.

It's indeed quite interesting how one small detail is able to change the whole universe. Though in my mind it looks a bit different, I'm afraid Toriyama would put Goten on the same place as any other female character - (s)he would stop fighting and become a housewife and a source for more Saiyan childrenΒ Β and Gotenks probably would never 'born'.
But maybe it would have a good influence on Trunks. He's just like Vegeta. With gentle sweet girl around, Trunks wouldn't be such 'witty' but maybe more resposible (you know: "I need to protect my lady").
Anyway, if Goten was a girl, I'm pretty sure it would be the most popular couple since Trunks' fangirls have him for no other purpose but shipping. OCsxTrunks ship are like everywhere.
What would be more awesome, Trunks/Pan and Goten/Bra couples would stop exist. Ahh, dreams~
