I think it's awesome that you're sharing your process with us all. Watching the videos makes feel better, because I can see that you are just as human as the rest of us. ha ha ha
You learn by trial and error, just as I expected. In one sense I can now relax, but in another sense this just makes want to push myself harder.

Something which is bothering me is on the very first left hand under the thumb region. It looks a bit as if the person to whom that hand belongs to has a Gideon's disease. It looks very good in total but that's the only point I think is weird.

My friend's hand sometimes looks a bit like that. She doesn't have a cyst but from time to time her Gideon's disease kicks in. I'm really sorry >.< *gomen*!

Am I like the only one who found drawing hands the easiest on my first attempt? My first time drawing a hand was the first time I drew a human from the head to the waist and this was like in First or second grade I had a super stretched out torso a 12 inch neck and a ugly flat and tiny hand with horrible spiky hair with some super hyper realistic hands with shinny nails. When ever I think about that drawing I die of embarrassment because it was so ugly, but those hands was beautiful doh, it even had correct shadowing, color shape and a slightly thick vein in the middle and everything. And this was like I don't even know like in 1998 or something... GOD I GOT TO FIND THAT PICTURE AND POST IT!

How many time did you take practicing to reach that level? Your drawings/paintings are perfect.
I don't know if I can compare your recent drawings with one sketch you have from 2008 in BL gallery.
Because it's really important to beginners not give up on practicing, so I would like to know if it took years of practicing.
