Shadow painting leads to great results and is unfortunately only possible in digital. Which is why many artists typically don't utilize it.

Just pledge a certain amount to his Patreon, then you should have access to it.

Well, how Patreon works is that you donate a certain amount to an artist every time they upload a new piece of art (could be literature or animation, it depends on the person), so if you were to donate 5 dollars to Sakimichan every time he put up a new art piece on this site, if he were to put up 5 pieces of art by the end of the month, he'll get 25 dollars from you.
If that's too much for you to give to someone, you can set a monthly cap. This means that if you only want to give 10 dollars in total to Sakimichan every month, than no matter how many finished drawings he uploads, he'll only be paid by you for the first two he creates every month.
Now, I'm not sure show much you need to pledge to get his tutorials, but since he sells them on another site for 10 dollars each, I'd assume that you'll have to pledge less in to be able to use his tutorials. So yeah, that's the basis of Patreon.
