Finally done ! stayed up yesterday to finish it >;3 I created this bg tutorial to help artist of all levels, giving you guys some tips and tricks to create super simple yet colorful/ suited bg to company your characters. This is mostly made with helping out beginner artist in mind so it can be very elemental to more experienced artist ^_^ I know a lot of you are starting out so hopefully this will help you guys out !
In this tutorial I will be covering 5 basic bg types and each with various techniques

So, Sakimi, I was watching one of your patreon videos because my friend was kind enough to let me watch it, it was the normal version of Dante (I believe there's a NSFW?) and I was fascinated by the way you used the lasso tool to make the hair. I was wondering, how did you manage to get that kind of precision? I love the hair on all your pieces and I would never imagine that you make them with the lasso tool. Can you give me (us?) some tips? Please. I'm a huge fan of your work, even tho I don't comment a lot. c:

You can get some more precise selections if you select the lasso tool and then hold down alt key. It turns the freeform lasso into a polygonal lasso, but for some reason i find it easier to use that way instead of the actual polygonal lasso.
