Description
For a friend's (who is a chemist) birthday, I made a bunch of mini cupcakes into the Periodic Table of Elements. This is not my original idea!

It is a great tasty way to review the elements and their placements for sure!

Well there's already water inside you, wouldn't need to take a sip... but any of the alkali metals should have reacted with the icing before they even got to the plate anyway, in which case they'd all show signs of burning, so I'd assume they were already in the form of a salt when they were baked.

Yep! Growing up, kids in other science classes got to make cells out of candy... I was envious and made one just for fun!

These are the mini size cupcakes. Much easier to frost in large batches.
And thanks!

A few hours. I didn't actually time because it was kinda fun to do. Help would have been nice but I did these alone Great time killer when you are bored and even better when it is a gift for someone else.

Yes! After I got done I knew more of the elements that were on there and even memorized some of the symbols of the ones I already knew. It was great review ^_^
